Hello stranger! My identikit: 22, ENFJ, Half Milanese half Sardinian, student of Economics and Social Sciences. Here to maintain my creativity in shape while I try to make sense of linear regressions. To keep my sanity while trying to survive Bocconi’s most difficult Master’s Degree (sorry not sorry Finance), I cook, indulge in Mubi films, and overall try to cultivate my edgy intellectual side.

You can find me studying at Leoni First floor, running at Parco Sempione, eating a cornetto alla crema, or chatting with strangers around Milan.

I like writing about the social phenomena I witness both through first-hand experience and the media and always try to develop a personal view of the Zeitgeist. But to be fair, I’m drawn to anything that gives me a free ticket for an escape across time and space.

Born and raised in Southern Italy, I moved to Milan four years ago to study CLEACC at Bocconi, driven by a passion for art in all its forms. I’m now an ACME student majoring in Visual Arts. My other interests include travelling, reading, painting and music.

Everything I have learnt over the past few years has made me realise how important it is to write down thoughts, discoveries, observations and meaningful experiences (even the seemingly “less meaningful” ones), rather than letting them slip away in the chaos of everyday life. And, perhaps, how wonderful it would be to share some of them.

That’s when I remembered that my primary school teacher gifted me a book titled Voglio fare la scrittrice(“I want to be a writer”).

My name is Francesca and I was born and raised in Italy. I'm a second year student in the BIG program. My passions are art, in particular music and literature, traveling, sports, photogtaphy, nature and politics 🙂
My love for writing started when I was in elementary school, when I started my very first diary and I've kept one ever since. Nothing really poetic or intellecutal, but it has always been something that helped me clear my mind.

Editorial Director from January 2021 to February 2022. An intrepid reporter and extremely curious young woman, passionate about interviews and investigating events and their causes.

A volte mi sorprendo a osservare il mondo come se fosse un mito, a vederlo popolato da eroi tragici (classici?) per capirlo un po’ meglio. O solo per gioco?

Currently studying Economics and Social Sciences to try to navigate complexity with some weird models.

I am a first-year CLEAM student at Bocconi University, with a strong interest in business, finance and entrepreneurship. I am particularly curious about how ideas, people and organizations come together to create meaningful projects and experiences. Outside academics, I am passionate about music, fashion and sports, and I enjoy meeting new people and discovering different perspectives. I joined Tra i Leoni with the aim of getting actively involved in university life, contributing to the organization of engaging events and building lasting connections within the Bocconi community.

I’m Italian, but I’ve lived both in Italy and Canada, where I spent my exchange year. Currently, I’m enrolled in the HEC-Bocconi Double Degree program and will be moving to Paris next year! I love backpacking and I spent last summer interrailing across Europe, all the way up to Norway. I’m particularly interested in current events, especially when related to economics and geopolitics, and I have a deep passion for classical music (how can you not like Liszt, come on). In a world in which AI is on the rise, our passion and ability to form opinions still set us apart as humans. I try to bring these qualities into my writing.

I am a Franco-German BIEF-Economics student, passionate about European politics and classical music.

Brazilian, BIEM first-year student.
Waiting patiently for Frank Ocean's new album and hoping the 10-minute version of Silver Springs eventually sees the light of day. Few albums are as golden as Maria Bethânia's Cânticos, Preces, Súplicas à Senhora dos Jardins do Céu. Named my cat after Amy Winehouse.
One of my favorite emojis is the simple star.
Writing to fill the gaps left by experience. Interests include all the things that catch my eye and become an image in my mind. And that could be anything.
When in doubt, read Tennyson's Ulyssesor anything by Fran Lebowitz. Or imagine you're flying or afloat in the sea.
Hope to learn how to write letters well and communicate exclusively through them.

Brazilian, big city girl and cat lover. Studied International Relations to get to know the world, and now does a master’s in Politics and Policy Analysis because she found a lot of stuff that needs to change. Hobbies include karaoke, seeing the face that a man makes when she beats him at foosball, guessing T-Swift songs in 0.5 seconds, and moving to a new country to figure herself out. Writes about culture, language and media, especially their intersection with politics and society.
